Choices - Limbaugh

Though I disagree with word Limbaugh choose to use, I agree I shouldn't pay for anyone's life choices - Choice, when are we going to hold each other accountable?

Not taking responsibility for our own actions is a major problem and not holding others responsible for their choices is one of THE problems.

Let's take a speeding ticket, I had a good reason to speed or maybe I just felt it would be fun! But it was my life choice and like Fluke I should be able to do what I want at society's expense, right!

SSDD - Same Stuff Different Day

Is anyone surprised that North Korea is protesting South Korea's navel exercise? I question if the should get the satisfaction of being reported every single time...

The most recent threat, carried by the north’s state media, said Pyongyang’s forces would deal harshly with any threat proposed by Monday’s kickoff of annual South Korean-U.S. military drills that North Korea characterizes as a dress rehearsal to an invasion.

I Not Sure that is Mistreatment

I ain't buying it! Ford says
"I'm not telling it all, because it was so horrible you could not even believe it," said Ford, D-Memphis. She added later that she was restrained during a hospital stay during which "I didn't even know where I was."

Well knowing what we know about her, drunk or high or both doesn't constitute mistreatment - BTW, you don't know where you are yet you can remember ever detail while your there, REALLY?

We (The US) Might Want to Denounce!

I know these threats from the north are a dime a dozen; however, they could also mean something - could lead to loss of life... especially, if there is no acknowledgment or consequences from the US!

A year ago Wednesday, North Korea launched an attack on the civilian island of Yeonpyeong, killing two marines and two civilians and shattering the sense of security that South Koreans had enjoyed for almost 60 years.
The island shelling came half a year after North Korea torpedoed a naval ship, the Cheonan, killing 46 sailors

Hero? Really?

Just curious if these are the goals you set for your children?
Taking LSD was a profound experience, one of the most important things in my life. LSD shows you that there's another side to the coin, and you can't remember it when it wears off, but you know it. It reinforced my sense of what was important--creating great things instead of making money, putting things back into the stream of history and of human consciousness as much as I could.
The suscess of Jobs is clear, but do you think he couldn't have done it without LSD? Really? ...I believe that without the drug it could have been done and possibly better and faster! I KNOW, the drug wasn't the reason for his success, and hope others realize that!

Do We Care?

So we have big Al Gore trying in the news, do we really care?
Now Al Gore is getting on President Obama for opting against tougher air pollution standards.
Just shut up Al!

Guess he is trying to make noise before he goes into hibernation for the winter. BTW, Al we are experiencing an unusually cool spell - I know it's global warming, NOT!

Now Gore blasts Obama over pollution regs

Jobless Rate Climbs & The Experts are "EXPECTANTLY" Ignorant!

The jobless rate continues to climb and the "experts" continue to be surprised by the UNEXPECTED findings. Who are these idiots? A six year old would know what to expect and would certainly understand years of using the world UNEXPECTED was fooling knowing!
U.S. employers added 18,000 workers in June, the fewest in nine months, and the unemployment rate unexpectedly climbed, indicating a struggling labor market.

Selfish non-Caring Attitudes

...are everywhere!
You are on vacation, a criminal breaks into a spree resulting in innocent people dying- Some died to protect you, I might add. So what is the first thing you think about?

The families of those dead, Thanks for those who put their life on the line for you, Thank God we are okay, or Pray for God to help those hurt - OH NO, NO, NO, you think "our world didn't got our way and we want something for it!".

Not sure what is more tragic, the deaths involved in this or the display of what appears to be the new national priority "me first and always"!

May GOD help us....and those suffered loss and tragedy this holiday weekend in Memphis!

An Idea...

...police your own before you tell us how to live our lives!

Those who seek to run our lives
Barack Obama tells us we are greedy and selfish, Nancy Pelosi compares some of us to Nazis, Dick Durbin compared our soldiers to the Soviets who ran the gulags. Still others call us racist if we disagree with them. Any time you turn on the TV you can find some politician lecturing us and wagging his finger in our faces, telling us how we should live our lives.

Memphis' Ties Record High Set in 1977

Memphis' Sunday temperature ties record high set in 1977 » The Commercial Appeal

If you believe the heat is due to "man-made climate change" and in no way is related to cycles in the weather - Please tell me what was going on in 1977...come on give it a shot!
When the thermometer hit 99 degrees at 1:53 p.m. at Memphis International Airport, it tied a record set in 1977.
How about fifty-eight years ago...you know when not every family even had a car, and if they did they had one...
On Wednesday, the high is expected to reach 97, which would tie the record set in 1953
Come on, I want to hear it - The Global Warming fanatics can tell me how and when we (human beings) will destroy the world, but they cannot explain why there are still record highs over 100 years old, nor can they accurately tell me what the weather is going to do tomorrow!
