Rally organizer tied to Marxist Party One of the key organizers of the immigration protests and rallies nationwide, including yesterday's in Washington, is a group whose leaders are tied to the Workers World Party, a Marxist organization that has expressed support for dictators Kim Jong-il of North Korea and Saddam Hussein of Iraq.

Thomas Sowell has a very good overlook of these demonstrations over immigration and the immigration issue as a whole -- take a look.
Immigration 'Solutions'The Mexican flags and the strident assertions of a right to violate American laws are a danger signal to this society, as they would be to any society.
The releasing of children from schools to take part in these marches and the support of the marchers' goals by some religious leaders demonstrate that this contempt for the laws of the land has spread well beyond immigrant communities.

OH yes -- I really want to get behind education of this type, NOT! No wonder democrats don't support alternative education options... Why would they want to cause any harm to their free propaganda machine?
Demo candidate accused of showing Bush-bashing video to his students “My son and a group of his friends were talking about this video they had seen in school,” Jackson said. “One of the other student’s mother saw the video and she forwarded it to me. I saw it and I became livid.”
The video clip, which can be viewed at Filmstripinternational.com, shows a slideshow of images accompanied by a song called “A—hole.” The slides show President Bush, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and others in the administration. Words are typed on each image; a photo of bush in college bears the caption “A ‘bad apple’ in college.” A scene showing Rice said she was shopping for shoes after the “levee broke.”

According to her son and his friends, she said, discussion in White’s science class often turns to politics.
“I know of one instance where my son was told he couldn’t leave the room without saying, ‘John Kerry rocks,’” she said. “I think my son is entitled to his opinion, just like (his teacher) is. I don’t think any issue should be forced on my son.”

I thought this might be newsworthy -- then I noticed those murdered were Kurds and Christians, that fact and the fact it doesn't reflect negatively on the US Military maybe it is not newsworthy... Though I am being facetious it is believable that the MSM thinks this way, isn't it, and that is sad!
Iraqis Find 8 Mass Graves Containing 1,000 Bodies, Kurds Say April 6 (Bloomberg) -- Eight mass graves containing about 1,000 bodies were discovered in northern Iraq, President Jalal Talabani's political party said.
The graves were found yesterday in the villages of al-Asri and Tubazawa, west of Kirkuk, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan said on its Arabic-language Web site today. Two of the sites contained at total of at least 800 bodies, the party said.

Here we have good economical news -- just wanted to put it out there because you want hear the MSM admit that they have been lying about the 'bad economy' these past few years, but what the heck we knew it all the time!
Employers Boost March Payrolls by 211,000 WASHINGTON — Employers boosted payrolls by a sizable 211,000 in March in a springtime hiring burst that pushed the unemployment rate down to 4.7 percent. Iraqi, U.S.-led Forces Capture Qaeda-Linked Leader April 6 (Bloomberg) -- Iraqi and U.S.-led forces captured an al-Qaeda-linked leader wanted for killings, kidnappings, and assassination attempts after a "determined manhunt,'' the U.S. military said today.

Protest about 'illegal' immigrants -- you know the ones that demonstrate love of this country by flying
another country's flag and the US flag upside down -- has led to a school banning anything that might be considered patriotic... Hep, I can see how these 'illegal' immigrants are good for America -- sure I am buying it!
Tensions Prompt School To Alter Dress Code Students at Shaw Heights Middle School are no longer allowed to wear anything that is patriotic, including camouflage pants, because they have become a political symbol for a version of patriotism, CBS4 reports.
"It upsets me that we cannot support our troops -- the military," said Kirsten Golgart, an eighth grader who was told she'd be suspended if she didn't change her clothes. "We can't support our country. If we're American, I think we should be proud to be an American."

Anyone else heard anything from Amnesty International about this? Doesn't it rate a comment? How about anything from Muslim leaders in this country or any other, any comments? Oh that is right it was an 'atrocity' against an American!
I would like to express my condolences to this service member's family!
Militants in video drag man they say is U.S. pilot BAGHDAD, Iraq -- Gunmen shouting "God is Great!" dragged the burning body of what they said was a U.S. pilot in a video posted Wednesday on the Web by a new group affiliated with Al Qaeda. Appears that the 'security' conscious Democrats haven't a problem with giving felons citizen status! Interesting take on 'securing' a nation.

NBC's Dateline is up to it's old tricks -- I agree with NASCAR it 'outrageous' and any journalist should be 'embarssed', but most want be. I find attempts like this comical and further proof that there are too many 'News Shows'. Let me give NBC and other television news outlets a hint -- America doesn't trust you and escapades like this does not help, stick to your thirty or sixty minute news updates -- not many watch now anyway -- and get back to trying to entertain us. You know sitcoms, mysteries, etc. -- attempting to make America or Americans look bad ain't entertaining.
NASCAR: Dateline NBC's Plan 'Outrageous' NASCAR said NBC confirmed it was sending Muslim-looking men to a race, along with a camera crew to film fans' reactions. The NBC crew was "apparently on site in Martinsville, Va., walked around and no one bothered them," NASCAR spokesman Ramsey Poston said Wednesday.
"It is outrageous that a news organization of NBC's stature would stoop to the level of going out to create news instead of reporting news," Poston said.
"Any legitimate journalist in America should be embarrassed by this stunt. The obvious intent by NBC was to evoke reaction, and we are confident our fans won't take the bait," he said.

Liberal on the Democrats 'national security' plan -- they don't get it either!
Democrats' Narrow Vision You can look at the Democrats' national security plan, released last week, as simply a political shield, akin to the upgraded body armor they promise for U.S. troops.
[...]
Throughout the plan, in fact, there is no discussion of values, of liberty or generosity, of free markets or foreign aid -- of any purpose for American leadership larger than self-protection. The pollsters may be satisfied, but John F. Kennedy would not recognize his party.

How should we look at this - a victory, 'shuffling the deck chairs', or not really news? I look at it as a victory for the Iraqi people -- 'bloody tactics' the people, fellow Muslims, are turning against him. Can it be anything other then good news?
Most wanted terrorist 'kicked out as leader' for bloody tacticsABU MUSAB AL-ZARQAWI, the most feared commander in the Iraqi insurgency, may have been forced to surrender his leadership by rival groups, angered by his bloody tactics and the interference of foreign fighters in the Iraqi conflict.

this information widely report! Why would this 'good news' not be widely report in a media that claims the are reporting fairly? I hope you don't believe their claims - see below excerpts and tell me, do you consider this good news?
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. military deaths declined in the Iraq war for a fifth straight month in March even as insurgent attacks continue unabated with Iraqis increasingly the targets.
[...]
But the monthly U.S. military death toll has steadily dropped...

That would represent the smallest monthly death toll since 20 in February 2004, the lowest of the three-year war.

Stephen Hayes has an interesting opinion about the New York times
choosing ignorance, where the recently released 'Iraqi documents' are concerned -- is anyone surprised at their (New York Times) downplaying the significance of these documents?
Reading the two pieces together, one gets the unmistakable impression that the Times doesn't want to know more about the documents, their contents and what they tell us about prewar Iraq. The Times, it seems, has chosen ignorance.
[...]
Lost on Shane, it seems, is that these documents were released in large part so that we would no longer have to rely on the opinions of anonymous intelligence officials who, according to the Senate Intelligence Committee's bipartisan report, knew very little about Iraq before the war. It should hardly be surprising that the U.S. intelligence community would seek to downplay the significance of these documents after paying them little attention for three years. In any case, the release of the documents allows the debate to move from speculation to fact. It is a development one would expect the Times to welcome.

Most Better Off Today Than 4 Years Ago March 30, 2006--Fifty-five percent (55%) of Americans say they are better off today than they were four years ago.
Just somethings you might want to read and think about on immigration -- if you are interested of course!
Patriots, Then and Now -- Peggy NoonanWhat is the legend, the myth? That God made this a special place. That they're joining something special. That the streets are paved with more than gold--they're paved with the greatest thoughts man ever had, the greatest decisions he ever made, about how to live. We have free thought, free speech, freedom of worship. Look at the literature of the Republic: the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Federalist papers. Look at the great rich history, the courage and sacrifice, the house-raisings, the stubbornness. The Puritans, the Indians, the City on a Hill.
Whose Backlash? - Victor Davis Hanson Americans recoil at the volatile ethnic enclaves in France and the Netherlands--and can understand how such tribalism could quickly escalate to sectarian violence in Iraq, the Balkans, and Rwanda. Unless we curb the present influx, return to the melting pot, and salvage a legal remedy from the present illegal disaster, what we saw this week may only be the beginning of something far more dangerous from both sides of this avoidable crisis.

That evil US Military has gone and done something else -- something you will not read about in the MSM... Yep, you guessed it, it is/was a good thing -- what is the news in that?
Water Purifying Projects Completed Near Baghdad (CNSNews.com) - Soldiers in Iraq last week completed a water treatment and storage project that provides purified water to residents of four communities north of Baghdad, according to the Department of Defense.
Never fear, the anti-war drones are out there and being negative about this too!
An anti-war group, however, questions the success of water facilities in Iraq. "I don't know what to believe about what the military says it's doing and all the wonderful work it's doing," said Art Dorland, the chairman of the Iraq Water Project, an offshoot of the group Veterans for Peace.

Here is something you will not see in the MSM. These 'law-abiding' citizens, who feel they must hide their face are such good citizens and love this country so much they not only fly another country's flag but fly our flag, the United States Flag, upside down and under the country's flag they actually love! Give me a break -- I am supposed to accept this as 'good for America'?

Here is some very interesting news and proves something many of us have known for years -- home schooling anyone or here is an idea vouchers, haven't I heard that somewhere before?
D.C.'s Distinction: $16,344 Per Student, But Only 12% Read Proficiently The District of Columbia spends far more money per student in its public elementary and secondary schools each year than the tuition costs at many private elementary schools, or even college-preparatory secondary schools. Yet, District 8th-graders ranked dead last in 2005 in national reading and math tests.
