National health service ain't such a hot idea -- at least to those that actually know... Wonder if they will be hearing about the success of foreign 'national health services' anytime soon?
Doctors opt to have private operations - Sunday Times - Times Online Dr Sarah Burnett, a consultant radiologist in London who worked in the NHS for 15 years, said she took out private medical insurance while she was employed in the state service because she was unimpressed with the level of care she witnessed first hand. “NHS treatment is not a pleasant experience in any way — from the standard of the food, to ward cleanliness and the chance of catching MRSA,” she said.

I guess you have heard, by now, the comments about our soldiers by Richard Belzer -- 'the Law and Order guy' on
Real Time with Bill Maher! First let us look at some of his comments.
“Doesn't mean he's a brilliant scholar about the war because he's there.”
"It's this patronizing thing that people have about if you're against the war everyone's lumped together. You know, the soldiers are not scholars, they're not war experts."
Now we review the first sentence of Mr. Belzer's 'mini biography' from
IMDb A social misfit, was kicked out of every school he ever attended, due to his uncontrollable wit.
Now let's look at
Wikipedia...
He unsuccessfully attended junior college and later enlisted in the Army. He soon realized it was a mistake and tried to get out.
Think there might be a little animosity towards the ARMY? Let face it -- the man was and is an idiot yet now with his 'supporting actor' status feels he knows more then all -- GIVE ME A BREAK!

It is a clash between civilization and backwardness, between the civilized and the primitive, between barbarity and rationality.
Google calendar details leaked While the product is still apparently well away from a launch, bloggers are excited about the possibility and are speculating whether the service is a prelude to bigger things for the company, and for online calendars.

There is still some support for the military. I personally agree with this
ruling -- it amazes me that the liberals want to use the "withholding of federal funds" to enforce "their wants" but heaven forbid we use it to support our defense forces...
The nation's top law schools lost a significant legal argument on Monday when a unanimous Supreme Court ruled that the federal government could withhold funding from schools that bar military recruiters in protest of the anti-gay 'don't ask, don't tell' policy.

It looks like the answer to that question is YES -- ah shucks!
AIR AMERICA TUNED OUT? AIR America is close to losing its New York flagship station - knocking Al Franken and his liberal colleagues off the air on their second anniversary.
The network has a two-year lease with WLIB (AM 1190) that is reportedly set to expire April 1 - and at least one reliable report says it is 'extremely likely' the deal will not be renewed.
Americans should be ashamed police have to be present to prevent protest at a military member's funeral... This proves there is good reason for the military restricting access to arriving coffins.
I don't care if the protest is from the left, the right -- for or against what the service member stands for...IT IS WRONG AND INDECENT!

I guess
Cindy Sheehan just wants the attention... Now there is a Mom to be proud of -- maybe someone can get her some help!
We get more evidence of what democrats call supporting the military.
General Peter Pace made the following comments Sunday.
WASHINGTON Mar 5, 2006 (AP)— The Pentagon's top general acknowledged Sunday that
'anything can happen' in Iraq, but he said things aren't as bad as some say. 'I wouldn't put a great big smiley face on it, but I would say they're going very, very well from everything you look at.'
Rep. John Murtha (D - PA) could not wait to show support by calling him a liar.
"Why would I believe him?"
But never fear we will tomorrow we will hear how Rep. Murtha loves and supports the military -- GIVE ME A BREAK!

Check out what a
teacher is teaching tenth graders.
..."I'm not saying Bush and Hitler are exactly the same, obviously they're not. OK? But there are some eerie similarities to the tones that they use,"
You can listen
here -- one of his students tapped him. I guess it is OK as long as the teacher doesn't mention God.
I suspect we will be told that President Bush got the student to "spy" on the teacher!
The
Court rules pro-lifers not racketeers -- thank God for small victories. Can you believe they were ever thought of as racketeers?
The Supreme Court unanimously ruled yesterday that federal extortion and racketeering laws cannot be used against protesters at abortion clinics, ending a legal battle that has gone on for 20 years.

There is a new poll attempting to prove Military members want rapid withdrawal -- now this would include the military that has members that have reenlisted to return. Don't believe it, well nether to do I...
Troop Poll Not the Bombshell of Media Spin NewsBusters.org since the responses are consistent with the existing troop reduction plan, that the respondents were taking this plan into account when answering the question. Hardly the bombshell the Left wanted to portray.
